Welcome back to Haley’s Beauty Room and for another installment of my Skincare Sunday’s series! Most of the time purifying masks are targeted for oily, acne prone skin. If you have dry or even combination skin, these masks can seriously mess up your dry areas and leave you with unsightly dry patches. Even if you have acne, a purifying mask on dry skin is a total no-go, until now that is!
Enter in the Origins Clear Improvement Charcoal Honey Mask. I was sent this mask from Influenster strictly for testing purposes. This review is not sponsored, just my honest thoughts!

Price and Where To Purchase
This face mask retails for $34.00 and contains 2.5 fl. oz of products. This item can be purchased at Origins.com, Ulta Beauty, and Sephora.
The packaging is very simple and similar to that of other masks. It is just in a plastic jar with a screw top lid, nothing spectacular there. What is spectacular is the scent and appearance of the actual product.
This smells just like fresh honey. I’m not talking about a fake, honey scent. This is the real deal. The mask is dark, due to the bamboo charcoal, but it has a stunning gold sheen to it. You could say it’s a gold shimmer, but it’s definitely not glitter. It’s just beautiful, we’ll leave it at that.
Other than that, the mask applied normally like any other face mask and dried down after the allotted time. Mine took about 15-20 minutes until I needed to rinse it off.
Results and Final Thoughts
After using this mask for the first time, my skin was softer, smoother, brighter, and hydrated. I swear it just did everything for my skin! My pores were purified, but my skin didn’t feel tight or dried out. It is seriously the perfect purifying mask for all skin types.
As the mask was drying it didn’t get tight or uncomfortable, like some charcoal or mud masks can do. This washed off really easily and left me with fabulous results.
I use this mask about twice a week now, but I definitely think you could use this product up to three times a week, since it is pretty gentle on the skin and it doesn’t dry it out. I loved that I didn’t have to layer on the face oil or moisturizers after using this mask. I typically have to do that with other purifying products.
All around this is an amazing product, it smells delicious, the price is great for a high end mask, and best of all, it actually works. This is a mask I can see recommending to all of my friends with all different skin types and skin problems. Is it too early to say this might be one of my favorite masks ever? Definitely top 5 for sure!
