The Makeup Products That Made The Cut for 2019

Welcome back to Haley’s Beauty Room and Happy New Year! Can you believe we are already in 2019? I swear I am still living in 2013 over here!

Instead of doing a best of beauty 2018 post, I thought I’d share the makeup products that I will continue to use and repurchase in 2019. These are products I’ve used consistently throughout 2018 and will continue to be a staple in my routine for 2019.

So if you’re interested in the 2018 products that made the cut for 2019, keep on reading!

The Healthy Foundation

If you’ve been here since the beginning of 2018, you know that this is the first new product that I tried last year. Since then, it has been a staple in my routine and I don’t think I’ve found a better foundation.

It looks amazing on the skin, isn’t heavy, provides good coverage, and is the perfect every day foundation. It truly gives you a healthy complexion.

Lancôme Monsieur Big Mascara

Now we head to the end of the year, when I first tried the Monsieur Big mascara from Lancôme. This mascara is truly worth all of the fuss that it was getting. It lengthens, thickens, volumizes, and doesn’t clump.

The colors are super pigmented and it lasts all day on the lashes without smudging.

First Aid Beauty Hello FAB Bendy Avocado Concealer

If you suffer from dry skin or even just dry undereyes, this is the perfect concealer for you. It hydrates, provides wonderful coverage, is super buildable, and never looks heavy or cakey.

This product has slowly become one of my favorite concealers ever and what I use on a daily basis.

L’Oréal True Match Lumi Cushion Foundation

2018 really was the year for awesome drugstore foundation! This cushion foundation from L’Oréal is the perfect every day foundation for someone who wants a little coverage, a lot of hydration, and an amazing glow.

Colourpop x Makeup by Shayla Perception Palette

Perception Palette

Honestly, this entire collaboration was so bomb. I ended up purchasing the whole bundle and I did not regret it. However, the eyeshadow palette was really the showstopper for me in this collection.

The colors are pigmented, blend well, are unique, and are just all around fabulous. Shayla rocked this palette!

Tarte Timeless Smoothing Primer

Timeless Smoothing Primer

If you need a primer that fills in your pores, smoothes fine lines and wrinkles, but isn’t mattifying or drying, you absolutely need this primer. The product melts into the skin and provides the perfect canvas for makeup application.

Hands down this is my favorite primer of 2018 and possibly even of all time!

Physician’s Formula Butter Bronzer

Butter Bronzer

Well, this product will be on my favorites list until I die. Yes, it’s that good and worth all of the hype. 2018 was great for this product because they finally released different shades for everyone to enjoy.

Smells like a vacation, super buttery formula (no pun intended), and is great for every skin type.

Colourpop Brow Boss Pencil

Brow Boss Pencil

I think this is the only brow pencil I used all year. The color selection is phenomenal, the slight waxy finish keeps your brows in place, and the product is soft enough to perform, but not to soft that it gets everywhere.

Plus, with Colourpop’s price point you really can’t go wrong with this item! Affordable items killed it this year and I have a feeling 2019 will be another great year for drugstore makeup!

What items are you bringing into 2019? Anything you think I should try? Let me know in the comments!
