My Current Go-To Hair Products & Tools!

Welcome back to Haley’s Beauty Room! Something I don’t blog about often enough is haircare. Whether it’s hairstyles, products, or tips, I just don’t write enough about it. I think it’s probably because it is so up to personal preference, but I really want to get more into it.

If you follow me on any socials, you know that I recently just chopped my hair off into a Lob! I am obsessed with it, but now it means some new styling techniques. Today I want to go over my current go-to styling products, tools, and other haircare items that keep this mane in check.

Klorane Soothing & Anti-Irritating Shampoo with Peony

This shampoo is a life-saver for those who have sensitive scalps or suffer from dryness and itchiness. This shampoo provides ultra light cleansing and has Peony extract; an anti-irritant, soothing and anti-inflammatory ingredient.

This really does everything it claims to do and it keeps my hair looking and feeling healthy.

Nioxin System 4 Scalp Therapy Conditioner

I then follow up my shampoo with the Nioxin System 4 Scalp Therapy Conditioner. As the name suggests, this is also a scalp-targeted product. It’s perfect for fine, thinning, or chemically-damaged hair.

It has a cooling feeling that provides moisture balance to the scalp. This has helped moisturize my scalp and thicken up my hair as well! Love the combination of this with the Klorane shampoo.

Hask Unwined Pinot Grigio Mask

For my bi-weekly mask, I still have been going for the Unwined masks from Hask. I have switched over the Pinot Grigio one, as it is meant to provide shine and smooth the hair. The Midwest humidity during the summer really causes my fine hair to frizz, this helps keep it at bay.

It smells absolutely delicious, makes my hair very silky, and seals the cuticle for strong, beautiful hair!

Briogeo Rosarco Blow Dry Perfection Heat Protectant Crème

If you are looking for a natural heat protectant creme or styling cream, I would highly suggest this product. Briogeo’s Rosarco line contains Rosehip, Argan, and Coconut Oils to protect against heat damage, smooth hair, enhance shine, and tame frizz.

It also doesn’t weigh down your hair or leave a greasy film. If you have finer or thinner hair, you know the struggle and this is perfect for you.

It’s a 10 Potion 10 Miracle Styling Potion

I alternate from the Briogeo creme to the It’s a 10 Potion 10 Miracle Styling Potion. If you need something a little more heavy duty to detangle hair, smooth frizz, and heat protect, I suggest going for this over the other.

This is also the preferred option if I am going to let my hair air dry. This creates a beautiful, touchable finish and my hair looks great. Big plus on this one, it’s humidity resistant!

Wet Brush

The only brush I will use on my fine locks. The wet brush is the perfect brush for detangling wet or dry hair. It doesn’t pull, tug, or rip apart your strands like other brushes can do.

I have repurchased this time and time again and I will never go back to a regular brush!

FYI, the Tangle Teezer is another great option!

CHI Straightener

For my styling tools I always go back to my CHI Straightener. This is like the OG of high end straighteners. For good reason too. I have no doubt had this straightener for like 8 years and it still works perfectly.

It straightens my hair quickly, heats up fast, and smooths out the hair cuticle. It is a bit pricey, but it a fabulous investment, especially since it lasts so long.

Hot Tools Curling Iron

Another great investment is a Hot Tools Curling Iron. Basically every salon I’ve been to uses Hot Tools. They sell a ton of different kinds, but I love my 24k Gold iron. It heats up incredibly fast, curls super fast, doesn’t damage my hair, and it makes the strands very shiny and soft.

Best part, the curls actually hold up all day long. Not as expensive as a CHI iron, but another pricier investment worth making.

Those are my current go-to hair products! What have you been using lately? Anything you’d recommend to me? Let me know in the comments!
