What’s In My Travel Skincare Bag?!

Hello my lovelies! Sorry I have been MIA lately, I have been traveling for work. That’s actually what prompted this post. I love finding out what people take in their travel bags, especially when you are only taking a carry on bag with you.

So here we are, I am going to share what I take in my travel skincare bag! These items are strictly for carry ons, so they are subject to size requirements for liquids. These items are typically my tried and trues that I can’t live without, while others are all that I had that were size appropriate.

Simple Kind to Skin Cleansing Facial Wipes

I was at Meijer the other day picking up some travel size items to take on my trip and I can across these wipes. They were in a travel size pack and I decided to give them a try. I typically go for the Neutrogena wipes, but I wanted to switch it up.

This ended up doing the job, but I would never purchase the full size as my makeup remover. They seemed to take a little bit longer to get everything off and I wasn’t a fan of the smell. I will use them up on my next trip and then not repurchase.

First Aid Beauty Face Cleanser

So this cleanser isn’t my favorite one that I own, but I have this tiny, travel size tube of it, so it’s the best option when I can only have a carry on. Don’t get me wrong, it does the job and is perfect for sensitive skin, it just doesn’t wow me.

Because of that, I’ll probably never purchase the full size of this, just keep using it for travel purposes.

The Ordinary Matrixyl 10% + HA

This is a good anti-aging serum, my favorite is still the Physicians Formula 24k Collagen serum, but this one was better in terms of size.

Plus, the price point on all of these products is phenomenal and you wouldn’t be too heart broken if you accidentally broke the bottle while traveling.

Physicians Formula Vitamin C Brightening Facial Oil Stick

Ever since purchasing this, I can’t live without it. It’s my two favorite skincare things in one product; Vitamin C and Oil. This stick is great to travel with and has amazing skincare benefits.

Highly recommend this new product from Physician’s Formula and it has SPF 30 to protect your skin on tropical vacations!

Physicians Formula RefreshMint Cucumber & Bamboo Eye De-Puffer

Another must have from PF, this Eye de-puffer is fabulous for traveling. It cools and calm the eye area, provides a little hydration, and gives a “spa in a stick” experience.

I use this before applying my eye cream and the results are great. If you haven’t been getting enough sleep on your trip or had an early flight, this will solve those puffy eyes and dark circles!

Botanics Hydrating Eye Cream

My favorite eye cream at the moment is from Botanics UK. This 80% organic eye cream hydrates and makes my eye area feel great.

Since I was trying to conserve space in my carry on, this was the only eye cream I brought. Typically I use this in the morning and my Clinique one at night. This is just easier to travel with and gives me good hydration at night as well.

Josie Maran 100% Pure Argan Oil

If you read my skincare posts, you know I am all about oil in my skincare routine since I am so dry. I received this mini Josie Maran Argan Oil in a rewards kit and it was a life saver for traveling!

I didn’t need to take my bulkier The Ordinary oil and this did just as good of a job. I will totally be savoring this for future travel!

Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Deep Moisture Balm

A great facial moisturizer for day and night when I travel. I chose to bring just this one for day and night, over my typical night cream, because that would have taken up way too much space.

This deeply hydrates during the morning and night, so I really didn’t need my night cream for a few days!

Origins Drink Up-Intensive Overnight Mask

This mask is a staple in my skincare routine. I have the full size version and it basically saves my skin every Winter. Quite some time ago I got a gift with purchase that included this travel size version.

I am so happy I received this so I will never be without my favorite sleeping mask. If your skin gets dry while traveling, pick this up and all problems will be solved. Every other night I put this over top of all of my other products and hit the hay. In the morning my skin is happy and hydrated!

Body

Lush Scrubee

Scrubee Body Butters Lush Cosmetics - Google Chrome_2018-03-08_13-17-34

This item is amazing to travel with, just make sure you have the corresponding Lush tin to put it in! This exfoliator and hydrator in one saves on products in your bag. Plus, it keeps your whole body looking radiant and hydrated.

This is super important when traveling since you never know what type of water your skin will be exposed to. A lot of hotel waters dry my skin out even more, so this bar is a lifesaver.

Korres Body Butter in Guava

Yes, I did follow up my Scrubee with another moisturizer. That’s basically because I’m crazy dry and I have to. Any other person would probably not need to apply lotion after the Scrubee.

If you like extra hydration, this Korres Body Butter is amazing. It is so rich and hydrating, since it contains shea butter and avocado oil. Just a side note, I have a smaller size than what is normally sold. I received that size in my recent Fab Fit Fun box, which you can read about here!

What do you take in your travel skincare bag? Anything you’d recommend for me? Let me know in the comments!
