March Hit Its & Quit Its

Welcome back my lovelies! Here we are again at the end of the month, which means time to go over my favorites and misses. As I always say, I can’t believe this month is almost over! We are almost in April 2018 and I seriously almost just dated a signature 2016 the other day. WOW.

Anywho, this post contains a mix of beauty, fashion, and lifestyle items that I loved throughout the month of March, as well as some items that I was not a fan of. Enough of me babbling, let’s just get right into it!

Hit Its

Flower Beauty Light Illusion Perfecting Powder

This product actually joined my collection since my shade in the liquid Light Illusion was out of stock, but I’m so happy it ended up that way. This powder can be used as a setting powder or powder foundation. It contains blurring pigments and creates a luminous glow.

It is said to have medium, buildable coverage, but I have only used this product to set foundation, not on it’s own. That being said, I think it’s fabulous to set foundation. It blurs pores, fine lines, and texture. It really give the finish of your foundation a flawless appearance.

I will continue to use this powder, especially for only $13.99

Makeup Revolution Reloaded in Newtrals 2

I discussed this palette in a recent post that you can read here. This $7 eyeshadow palette is super pigmented, blendable, and all around fantastic. They color selection is great and you can choose from 4 different set ups.

I highly recommend this palette, especially for only seven bucks!

Vega Sport Recovery

So random item here, as this product is not beauty or fashion related. However, this product has changed my fitness game. Since starting to take this powder after every workout, my recovery time is less and future workouts are more productive.

This item contains electrolytes and B vitamins to replenish and restore post workout. It 110% works and I swear by this stuff now!  This product is informed-Choice certified, vegan certified, gluten-free and contains no artificial flavors, sweeteners or colors

I am obsessed with Rocksbox ever since I received my first one! This jewelry subscription service is so useful and a great deal. I love the items that I receive and am really happy I can use my subscription fee on any items I want to keep and purchase.

Derma E Vitamin C Serum

The absolute best affordable vitamin c serum you will ever try! I swear by this product and a dedicated post I wrote on this tells all! I have been using this item every morning and night in my skincare routine.

Derma E is an amazing brand that is ethical and creates high quality products at affordable prices.

Too Cool For School Coconut Oil Serum Mask

I’m sorry that I keep mentioning products I have already written about, but these are just so good! I only recently tried this mask, but it has changed my life! The results on your skin are so amazing that I have already purchased another 3 of these.

This mask hydrates, calms, replenishes, soften fine lines, and brightens. It also fits on the face incredibly well! Check out my recent post on this product for all the deets.

Quit Its

Flower Beauy Light Illusion Full Coverage Concealer

I only have one quit it this month and that’s because this is a huge one. This concealer looked so horrible on my under eyes that I legit took it off and started over. It claims to be a blurring concealer with a soft focus finish and full coverage. It also claims to reduce puffiness, calm, and contain antioxidants to boost the eye area.

This concealer looked so dry on my under eyes you’d think I have never used a moisturizer in my life. It didn’t blur, but instead made my fine lines look worse. The color was also horrible. Each shade is very yellow based, so if your skin has pink or neutral undertones, good luck using this product.

This was just a hard pass for me and for $9.99 there are better concealers out there. I am for sure returning this item.

What did you love this month? Anything you didn’t like? Let me knows in the comments!
