Welcome back to Haley’s Beauty Room! Blogmas day 15 is upon us with only 10 more days until Christmas! I think I have completed almost all of my Christmas shopping, what point are you at with yours?
For today’s post I have another product review for you. I have started to love Makeup Revolution more and more recently. The items are good quality for a great price. Now that they are at Ulta I have been purchasing a ton of products.
One of those products being the Luxury Banana Powder. This powder is a mattifying banana powder that helps color correct redness and pink undertones. I actually used this to bake under my eyes and the results were pretty good.

Initially I absolutely hated the packaging. The cap is not large enough to pour the powder in to so I had to use the cap of another setting powder that I own. It’s not a big deal, but it’s kind of annoying.
This is a true banana powder. The color is yellow, which means you need to be careful if you have fair skin. I totally didn’t even think of that when I applied it and it was way too yellow on me. I think if you have really fair skin, I would go with one of their other powders versus this one. This powder will work for me, but only after I have applied fake tan.
Other than the color, this product applied beautifully. It set my face very well and smoothed out any imperfections. The fine lines under my eyes were minimized and this powder kept my concealer from creasing. It did mattify the skin, but not so much so that my dry patches were emphasized or made worse.
This powder is very finely milled and applies well with any tool you use (brush, sponge, etc.)
All in all, I think this product is great. Although I didn’t like the packaging and the color is intense, it’s a great powder to mattify the skin and color correct. If you are looking for an affordable banana colored powder, I would highly suggest this product!
