Welcome back to Haley’s Beauty Room and for Blogmas Day 11! We are stepping back from the reviews and DIY to discuss some good old fashioned Christmas items. Every year I start blasting Christmas music and watching Christmas movies right after Halloween. Yes, I am one of those people.
Well, as you can imagine, I have my list of favorites when it comes to music and movies. We will save music for another time, but today I wanted to get in to movies. Most of these I am sure you have heard of, but hopefully some are new so you can experience some new ones! These are in no particular order, just how I thought of them.
Polar Express
Tom Hanks voices almost every character, no joke. How could not love this? From the catchy tunes to the inspiring story, this movie is sure to have you in the Christmas spirit.
How the Grinch Stole Christmas
There are many versions of this, but my favorite is the live action version with Jim Carrey. So hilarious and I quote it year round.
Elf
This movie is on everyone’s favorite christmas list, and for good reason! Will Ferrell portrays Buddy the Elf so well and I definitely see myself acting that way during the holiday season.
Just a great feel good movie that is perfect for the whole family.
White Christmas
An all around classic Christmas movie starring Bing Crosby and Rosemary Clooney. If you like Christmas music, you know Bing Crosby is the real OG.
The Muppet Christmas Carol
In my opinion, this one is the best rendition of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. Michael Caine as Scrooge and the usual Muppets cast makes for one good time with lots of laughs. The musical numbers are super catchy too!
A Charlie Brown Christmas
Do I really need to explain this one? A Charlie Brown Christmas features amazing Vince Guaraldi music and a cute storyline.
Holiday in Handcuffs
This one may be new to some of you, but Holiday In Handcuffs was an ABC Family original movie starring Melissa Joan Hart and Mario Lopez. This movie is so funny and is one of the best Christmas-romantic movies out there!
Home Alone
If you haven’t seen this movie I am concerned for your well-being! My Christmas isn’t complete without watching this Macaulay Culkin classic.
The Santa Clause
Tim Allen as the Santa Clause is another Christmas favorite. A typical dad becomes Santa Clause overnight. Laughs and tears throughout this great Christmas option!
