Product Empties: What Will I Repurchase?

Welcome back to Haley’s Beauty Room! Today I really wanted to go over some products that I have totally used up and let you know if I would repurchase them or not. These products range from makeup to skin to hair, so we will make sure to cover all of the bases.

If you’d like to know what I loved and what will continue to be a part of my collection, then keep on reading.

Milani Setting Sprays

The Milani setting sprays in Make It Last and Make It Dewy offer high quality results for a great price. That being said, it’s so hard to track these down because everyone loves them and they are always sold out.

I decided to try both because I heard such great things about the Make It Last, but I also love to be dewy because of my dry skin.

I personally loved the Make It Last. It keeps your makeup in place all day long and doesn’t make it break apart or get splotchy. I will say that I wish the mist was a bit finer. Sometimes it comes out a little too heavy, but it doesn’t cause any bad results.

Overall I really did like this setting spray and I will continue to purchase this due to the price ($9.99) and the fact that it is great for traveling.

I did also really enjoy the Make It Dewy from Milani, but not as much as the Make It Last. If you need a setting spray to get you dewy, then look no further. The spray has an oily consistency so definitely stay away from this if you have oily skin, or even combination.

For some reason I think the mister is different than the Make It Last as it comes out much heavier than the other. Since it has an oily texture, it can look a little splotchy if not evenly applied. Also avoid getting this in your hair or on your neck/chest, it will be greasy everywhere.

Besides that I did like the product. It came in handy on my super dry days and gave my skin some life back. This is priced that same as the Make It Last, but I’m not sure if I would repurchase this one. I am going to check out some other setting sprays and see if I will come back to this one.

Drunk Elephant Rise + Glow Duo

I have been dying to try Drunk Elephant products ever since they first came to Sephora. Skincare is my number thing that I am always switching up. However, this is a pricier brand so I have been weary about if I want to spend that much at this moment.

When I saw they had these little duos I decided to give it a shot since I would get a good feel for which products I liked. This duo comes with a hydration gel and a vitamin c serum. Vitamin C serums are a staple in my skincare routine so I love trying new ones out.

This duo costs $23 and you 0.27 oz in each bottle. That is a small amount for what you get, but it is more than a sample.

I did not see a huge difference in my skin after using both of these products up, therefore I will not repurchase, especially not in the full size. I like my Ole Henriksen Vitamin C serum and my First Aid Beauty hydration gel much more.

Aveeno Skin Relief Body Wash

This body wash is a must have in your collection if you have super dry skin or eczema. Or even if you have adverse reactions to other body washes. It has a super light coconut scent, but does not contain any soaps or dyes.

I love this body wash because it helps with my dry skin in the winter and won’t irritate my eczema. The light scent is fabulous and it’s as gentle as fragrance free products. I will 100% repurchase this because I don’t think my skin will make it through the winter without it!

Davies Minu Shampoo & Conditioner

I talked about these products in my Top 5  Shampoos & Conditioner post, which you can find here. I won’t drone on about these too long since I did mention them, but these are great for damaged hair and don’t contain harsh chemicals that US brands put in to shampoos and conditioners. They will save your hair and keep your color fresh even longer.

These are especially great if you are trying to grow out your hair, as they decrease the need for you to get your hair cut as often. I will definitely repurchase these products as they make my hair the healthiest it has ever been.

They are a bit pricey, at $26 for the shampoo and $30 for the conditioner. That being said, mine lasted me forever and the results don’t lie.

Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Long Wear Foundation

This is a holy grail foundation of mine, so it’s a guarantee that I will repurchase this product. It covers extremely well, doesn’t settle in to lines or cake up, and it last all day long. Mix this in with the Estee Lauder Double Wear and your face will be perfect for like three days straight (I wouldn’t recommend leaving your makeup on that long though ha).

It is very expensive at about $47, but I think mine lasted about a year, so for a foundation I think that’s a good amount of time. It will diminish your pores and give a natural to matte finish.  It also comes in 40 different shades, so you’re bound to find your perfect match. I highly recommend and I will definitely repurchase this once I have some extra cash.

What are some products that you always repurchase? Any you would recommend to me? Let me know in the comments!
