Favorite Fall Candles

As I’m sure you have seen from my previous posts, I am obsessed with Fall. Basically if you find anything related to Fall, I’m all about it. So of course, I own many, and we’re talking a lot, of Fall Candles.
From Bath & Body Works to Yankee Candle and more, I have come to discover my favorite scents through the years. Most of these scents return each year, so if you can’t get your hands on them now, mark them on your shopping list for next year!

All of these candles can be purchased at Bath & Body Works as well as White Barn.

Sweater Weather

This super fresh, iconic Fall scent is perfect for those who want the clean scent of Fall. It’s not too overpowering as some sweet candles and will be great if you like one scent throughout your entire house.

This candle features notes of Fresh Sage, Juniper Berry, Aromatic Eucalyptus, and Fresh Woods.
Pumpkin Apple

If you’ve been reading my blogs, I’m sure that you’re not surprised that I included a pumpkin candle on here. Pumpkin Apple from Bath & Body Works is probably my favorite pumpkin candle at the moment. It combines two classic Fall scents in a delicious way.  It also isn’t too sweet like some pumpkin candles, so if you enjoy something a bit lighter with pumpkin notes, I would opt for this.

This candle has notes of red delicious apple, Fall pumpkin, fresh ground cinnamon, and clove bud.
Cider Lane

If you are a fan of cider mills and apple cider, or maybe apple cider donuts, I would highly recommend this candle. This smells exactly like fresh apple cider, not any type of fake scent. It does have a very warm scent that is so comforting and perfect to light on a chilly fall day. Maybe even when you are baking some apple pie?

This candle has notes of warm caramel, granny smith apple, dark brown sugar, and ground clove.
Hot Cocoa & Cream

img_0773Let me preface this candle by saying that if you do not like sweet candles, I would keep on reading and skip this one. This is the sweetest candle on my list as it smells exactly like chocolate. The scent on this is so strong that half of the time I don’t even light it, I just take the cap off, and the scent will permeate throughout the entire room. I would suggest to be very careful with this candle as the scent can become overpowering very quickly, but if you like sweet scents from time to time and you are in a cozy mood, I would definitely check this out.

This candle has notes of milk chocolate, steamed milk, and nutmeg essential oil.

Campfire Donut

Another candle that is sweet, but not too sweet is Campfire Donut. This combines sweet with fresh for an all around great smell. This is perfect for anyone who likes a little bit of sweet smell in a candle. I really love to light this at night when I am curled up on the couch watching some Halloween movies, maybe even drinking some hot cocoa.

This candle has notes of powdered sugar, glazed donut, and cedarwood essential oil.
Autumn

Autmun, like Sweater Weather, is a very fresh scent that gives you an outdoorsy feel and is perfect for lighting on those chilly Fall days when you have all of your windows open. I would highly recommend this candle to someone who likes a scent that will linger and fill the entire house, without making the inhabitants feel like they are choking on a heavily fragranced, fake smell.

This candle has notes of bright red gala apple, juicy fig, eucalyptus leaf, and fir balsam.
Leavesimg_0768Perhaps my favorite candle of the season, Leaves brings that warmth and freshness of the season to any household and makes everyone feel like Fall. It has a spiciness to it that reminds you of Grandma’s Fall cooking while also feeling like you are strolling through the pumpkin patch or orchard.

This candle features prominent notes of crisp red apple, golden nectar, warm clove, and spice.
Marshmallow Fireside

My final favorite scent of the season is definitely Marshmallow Fireside. As with Campfire Donut, this candle provides a sweetness that is cut by smoky spice making it the perfect combination. This candle will bring you back to those weekend campfires that you may have had as kid where all you could think about was making a s’more. I love having a campfire in the Fall right before it gets too chilly as the ambiance is just perfect.

Marshmallow Fireside boasts notes of toasted marshmallow, smoldering woods, fire roasted vanilla, and crystallized amber.

What are your favorite candles for Fall? Have you tried any of the ones I listed? Let me know in the comments!

  1. I was so disappointed because I went into B&BW and there were no Marshmallow Fireside! But I did recently pick up another one on your list here – Autumn! It smells soooo good! I love the fresh apple scent. Hot Cocoa & Cream is one of my faves also!
