Hi loves! So last Thursday ColourPop launched a brand new eyeshadow palette that is perfect for Fall! It is called the I Think I Love You palette and I think I am in love with this palette! I just got mine today and the colors are totally up my alley. I love the metallic finish of most of the shades.
For just $16 you can get 12 buttery, creamy, super bendable shades that you will be wearing all season long. The bronze and neutral shades in this palette will give you that smoldering look that is sure to catch everyone’s attention.
In this palette you will get the following shades:
Bitter Better: metallic soft gold
Bel Air: matte cool taupe
Fancy Face: metallic bright red copper
Girls Bite: metallic golden bronze
Howdy: metallic red bronze
Rowdy: matte warm ivory
My Treat: metallic champagne ivory
Level Up: metallic bright penny copper
Screw It: metallic soft rose gold
Let’s Do It: matte true black
Rule Breaker: metallic bright yellow gold
My Type: matte deep saddle brown
Honestly these feel like high quality shadows for a great price. I have tried high end brands whose shadows don’t perform nearly as well. My swatches below simply do not do this product justice. I could not believe how soft and easy to work with these colors were.
Now to be fair, I have not actually put these on my eyes yet, pretty much because I just got home and immediately wanted to swatch and write about this. However, I will definitely do an update post about this palette and how it performs on the eyes and with brushes.
The packaging is an amazing bronzed copper that is so shiny I can see my reflection in it. Don’t fret if you don’t have a mirror with this palette! The palette is smaller, but that just means it is super travel friendly and you can just throw it in your purse if need be.
Since these shadows are so soft and buttery, I would be more careful with them so they don’t break. When I was doing my swatches I did get some kick up, but it was nothing horrible. I really would like to see how intense I can get the metallics with some glitter glue or Fix +.
So far I really love this palette. You get a great range of shades, from metallic to matte, that will help you create any look. I am also really happy that ColourPop included just a matte black shade, as I feel like brands have been straying away from that lately. The black is pigmented and creamy, so it will definitely be easy to work with.
All of the colors are very pretty and swatched nicely. I love the packaging and how compact the palette is. At this point I only have good things to say about the palette but my thoughts will be developing!,
Have you purchased this palette? What are your thoughts? Will you be buying this? Let me know in the comments and don’t forget to follow!
