Happy September my loves!!
I wish I could express in words how much I really do love Fall. To me it just seems like such a peaceful, beautiful sesason in every aspect. Nature is spectacular. The food is delicious. People seem to be in such a giving mood. Also not to mention the Fall beauty and fashion scene is always off the charts bomb!
Fall is my favorite season by far. Every year I plan things that I would like to do during the season, but I have never done an actual bucket list for it. I figured I would share my ideas with you and also get some of your Fall plans in return. Let’s get the season kicked off right!
1. Visit as many pumpkin patches and cider mills as possible
This is an absolute must for me! I feel like Fall isn’t Fall unless I visit a pumpkin patch or cider mill. My boyfriend and I actually live within walking distance of one of our favorite cider mills. They have the best apple cider donuts around and I always stock up when we get there.
Last year I actually made a list of the top 20 pumpkin patches and cider mills near me, and I planned on dragging my boyfriend to all of them. Unfortunately, we only made it to one. Lol how sad. But! This year I am tackling that list! I need my Fall fix.
2. Go to a Halloween party
Halloween parties are always the best parties to go to. You get to dress up as your favorite character or sexier than you normally do.
I personally like the parties because they seem so much more fun and the food is always fabulous. Halloween is such a fun holiday in general that anything to do with it is just awesome.
3. Go on a hayride
This kind of goes along with visiting pumpkin patches and cider mills as usually that’s where hayrides are offered. However, there are also haunted hayride which are a favorite of mine.
Something about just sitting there with your loved ones enjoying the weather and spookiness just really makes Fall complete. Maybe I will add in a corn maze with this too!
4. Drink Pumpkin Spice Lattes
To me it’s not even Fall unless I have a Starbuck’s PSL. I am one of those basic girls who loves Uggs and Starbucks and I’m not even ashamed! This is my go to drink during the season.
I have so many recipes to share with you so you can make your own variation of this if you’re not a fan of Starbuck’s. Not to worry my vegan friends, I have one just for you too!
5. Go on a nature walk
Fall is not only my favorite time due to the food and fashion, but also because of the nature and weather. I am one of those people who is all about 50 degree weather and sunshine.
I will put on my riding boots and a sweater and just live outside. That being said, I will definitely go on a nature walk. Michigan, where I currently reside, has so many beautiful parks and nature reserves, that it is easily accessible for me to get outside and enjoy Mother Earth.
6. Make at least 10 new pumpkin recipes
This is something that you are going to see a lot of on my blog this upcoming season. I have so many fabulous recipes to share with you and also some that I want to try out along the way.
As pumpkin is found in seriously everything Fall related, I figured that I would spice it up a bit and try and stray from my normal recipes.
7. Donate to a food pantry or shelter
Fall gets me in the mood to be so giving. I try to be giving the rest of the year, but something about Fall just really brings it out. This year I would like to donate a lot of stuff to a food pantry or local shelter.
I think about how thankful for everything that I have, that I would like others who are less fortunate to enjoy as well. I hope to collect some items from my neighbors and coworkers and bring over a huge haul. Like they say at Christmas, the greatest gift is not receiving, but giving.
8. Have a Halloween movie night
I am all about scary movies! If you ask my boyfriend, he can attest to the fact that I drag him to so many scary movies that it’s ridiculous. Not only do I love scary movies, but I do love Halloween themed movies too!
Hocus Pocus, It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, Halloweentown, you name it, I love it! I really just want to curl up with my boyfriend and dog, have some popcorn and sweets, and just have a movie marathon.
9. Play with my puppy in the leaves
My dog is my pride and joy. She is my baby and I treat her like she is my actual child. We actually got her last year in October, so she’s my cute Fall puppy! Whenever we would take her on walks she loved the leaves.
She jumps all over and tries to bite all of them. I plan on reliving that scenario many times this year with her. I will be sure to update you all with cute pictures.
10. Enjoy fall!
Lastly, I just want to enjoy the season. It goes by so quickly every year and I want to make myself really just sit down some days and soak it all in. I have so much to grateful for and I want to spend the season with those that I love.
What do you plan on doing this Fall? Let me know in the comments!
